To help answer your questions about employment verification and salary verifications, we have compiled our Employment & Salary Verification FAQ.
QuickConfirm offers three distinct types of services for three distinct types of visitors, and employment verifications work a bit differently for each:
There is no charge for employers to join our network. Likewise, there is no charge for employees who work for companies of these employers to release their information. Verifiers are charged for verifications based on the type of account they establish.
In order to access employment information, the verifier must enter the employee's Company Code and Social Security Number. Because our system is fully online, the employment verification request is completed without requiring the employee to log into QuickConfirm as long as they have provided the third party with the information indicated above. Without this information, no third party can access employee information.
For security purposes, employees need to log into QuickConfirm to create a unique salary authorization code to enable a third party to obtain salary information. Employees can log into the system to see the status of their employment or salary verifications they have authorized. Employees have unlimited access to their information and they never incur a fee for this access.
It is the employee's responsibility to provide the verifier with a salary authorization number in order to enable the verifier to access their salary information. Creating this number is a simple process. Employees can view a how-to video which is found on the employee portal.
The security of your personal information is of paramount importance. QuickConfirm maintains strict standards to prevent unauthorized access. Take a look at the security features for QuickConfirm.
The minimum requirements for running QuickConfirm are as follows.
This is one of our most frequently asked employment verification legal questions. We are compliant with FCRA and HIPPA. We are also fully PCI compliant.
If you are an employer, your industry likely has guidelines regarding responding to employment verification requests. Generally, an employer can safely release information about an employee’s name, job title, and dates of employment. Sometimes, verification of employment questions request past performance reviews, but this can be treacherous legal ground. Answers to such questions are generally not provided.
At QuickConfirm, our employment verification services can help keep both verifiers and employers compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
